Bamboo Blade Kawazoe Tamaki Figure from Alter

So I finally got my 1/8 Scale Kawazoe Tamaki figure by Alter a couple months ago. I couldn’t be more satisfied.  The detail on this figure is excellent. The shinai also shows the detail of a real one.

Her arms pull out of the sleeve’s on her shirt. That way you can add and remove the shinai without a problem.  I personally don’t have a problem removing or adding the shinai so I usually just keep her arms attached.  The skirt on this figure is finely detailed. It ruffles to go with her sitting position. Unlike some figures I’ve seen to where they don’t put too much detail on the clothing while in different positions.  The shirt is detailed as well with the creases in the shirt as well as the school emblem on the right breast of it.   The stand that comes with her is all white with a shinai pictured on it in red as well as red text that says “Kawazoe Tamaki” and “Bamboo Blade” under her name.

A neat little feature to this figure is that she comes with a mini – Tamaki. Complete with a blank stare expression that she has a lot in the series.  The head does turn so you can change the direction she’s looking in.  It’s about the size of a petite nendoroid but just a tad smaller.  The mini-tama also comes with a white stand as well to hold her up in place.  It has two metal prong’s sticking up out of the stand so you can insert it into her feet to stand her up.

All in all this figure was a great buy.  If I went on a star rating, I’d give it a 4/5.   I personally loved the Bamboo Blade series and would recommend you all to watch it.
